About Us

Larry Mayer, President of Comfort Choice Homes was with Honeywell from 1990 to 2001, solving heat and cooling problems for existing commercial building owners by offering guaranteed retrofit saving contracts for up to15 years in the upper Midwest. With Honeywell’s world training center in Minneapolis, Larry received advanced building system training for schools, state government buildings, healthcare, and industrial. Larry won multiple awards both in the midwest region and nationally. He started Solution Design in 2002.

In 2009 he became a PHIUS Certified Passive House Consultant, and he started offering advanced design services to the Fargo–Moorhead area.
